What is diaper need?

Diaper need is the lack of a sufficient supply of diapers to keep an infant or child clean, dry, and healthy.

the History

When COVID-19 hit our community, we saw a huge increase in requests for diapers-individuals and organizations in the community were coming to us asking for help.

We realized that diaper need was a reality for many in our area. We found that there were ZERO diaper banks in the state of Arkansas that are members of the National Diaper Bank Network.

We changed that!

In September of 2020, we began a partnership with Bread of Life food pantry to address our need for storage and initial distribution. Then we held our first diaper drive and began partnering with agencies to distribute diapers to families in need.

In March of 2021, we became official members of the National Diaper Bank Network.

More about diaper need

1 in 2 US families report experiencing diaper need.

Currently, no state or federal dollars are allocated to help parents with diapers, which means you can’t purchase diapers with WIC of SNAP benefits. Often times parents are forced to miss work or school because they don’t have sufficient diapers for their child.

Help eliminate diaper need.
