Audrey Zavaleta

Executive Director

Audrey Zavaleta graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor’s in Sociology. She was introduced to the non-profit world through the AmeriCorps VISTA program in 2012. Audrey joined Family Network in Oct. 2013. Her passion is being a voice for the under-served and unrepresented, and being a channel for knowledge.

Development Coordinator

Emma recently earned their Bachelor’s in Family and Human Services from John Brown University. They’ve worked with multiple non-profits in Northwest Arkansas in development and volunteer management, and plans on staying in non-profit development for a long time. They are passionate about advocating for people who may go unseen due to systematic barriers and issues. They hope to use their privilege to uplift others and help our community as a whole.

Mariela Ramirez

Parent Educator

Mariela has a bachelors in Science Education from Costa Rica and loves working with individuals from different cultural backgrounds and learning new things. In her free time, she love being with her family and friends!

Rene Manjarrez

Parent Educator

As a first generation American and first generation college graduate, Rene is no stranger to the struggles and limitations minority communities face. At the beginning of 2020, Rene saw the drastic need for healthcare paraprofessionals. He joined the frontlines to fight against the COVID-19 pandemic, and further saw the disparities of minority communities. He is an avid advocate for the less privileged and hopes to continue the valuable work of ensuring all families in Arkansas have the tools to thrive.

Parent Educator

Alejandra is a first-generation student who recently graduated from the University of Arkansas with a Bachelor of Arts in Teaching. She has a strong passion for working with students of all ages and being able to serve her community in any way she can. Alejandra is continuously learning about different ways she can advocate for those who are in need and underrepresented.

Lomalinda Polin

Parent Educator

As a family educator, her goal is to build strong relationships with our community, especially with the families that come across her path. She is eager to learn from them and work alongside them to make a positive difference in our families and community.

Her past experience as a Marshallese translator demonstrates her strong passion for serving our community in any way possible. We cannot wait to see this passion in action as you work with our families.
